There are options on the right side of the interface that allow you to adjust the properties of DeNoise AI. There are three AI modes:

The Low Light mode is different from the first two modes, as it reduces noise only in low light conditions. Low light conditions call for stronger noise reduction and weaker sharpening. Despite these differences, I find it best to check all three with most images. It’s usually one or possibly two modes that perform best, and it’s not necessarily the mode you expect.

As far as processing and saving go, DeNoise AI is fairly fast, especially considering the processing involved. We test the software against the excellent DeepPRIME noise reduction from DxO. It takes my Mac about 10-15 seconds to process RAW files from a 20Mpixel micro 43.
